Container Candle Making Workshop (Beginner)

Learn how to make your first handmade soy wax candles with a hands-on, guided course designed specifically for beginners. You'll learn the basics of candle making, coloring, scenting, and wick selection to create beautiful and functional candles.

What you will learn and take away

Module 1 – Introduction to Waxes and Manufacturing Bases

• Discovery of the different types of wax (soy, vegetable, mixed wax)

• Preparing the wax for a smooth texture and optimal combustion

• Safety concepts and good manufacturing practices

Module 2 – Wicks and Combustion

• Choosing wicks according to the type of candle and wax

• Centering and Fixing Techniques for a Regular Flame
  

Module 3 – Color and Aesthetics

• Introduction to Natural and Synthetic Dyes

• Simple coloring techniques for a consistent finish
  

Module 4 – Perfume and Olfactory Diffusion

• Selection and incorporation of fragrances and/or essential oils

Module 5 – Creating Personalized Candles

• Practice: Making an 8 oz scented candle
