KOH Liquid Soap Workshop

Do you want to learn how to make your own handcrafted liquid soap? This hands-on workshop is the perfect opportunity to discover the art of cold process liquid soap making and create natural soaps, gentle on the skin or suitable for household cleaning.

Whether for personal use or to develop a craft business, you will be guided step by step in the formulation, saponification, dilution and personalization of your liquid soap.

What you will learn

• The basics of cold process soap making with KOH : understanding the chemical process, measuring and mixing ingredients safely, and handling caustic potash correctly.

• Differences between industrial and artisanal soaps , particularly in terms of gentleness, biodegradability and natural preservation of glycerin.

• Choice of natural ingredients : vegetable oils, glycerin and moisturizing agents to formulate a skin-friendly liquid soap or an effective and ecological liquid laundry detergent.

• Dilution and finishing techniques : learn to adjust the texture and consistency to obtain a ready-to-use product according to the desired use (body care or household cleaning).

What you will receive

• 1 litre of all-purpose liquid soap paste , ready to be diluted.

• Three exclusive recipes :

  • gentle skin cleansing soap

  • Castile-style soap made with olive oil

  • natural liquid laundry detergent.

• Comprehensive course materials : technical sheets, list of ingredients, necessary equipment and detailed preparation steps.

Workshop details

Our sessions generally last between 2 hours and 2.5 hours, an ideal amount of time to guide you step by step in discovering the art of cold process liquid soap making.

All necessary equipment is provided.

What you will take with you: a 1-liter bottle of homemade liquid soap, ready to use.
