KOH Liquid Soap Workshop

Would you like to learn how to make your own handmade liquid soap? This practical workshop is the perfect opportunity to discover the art of cold-process liquid soap making and create natural soaps that are gentle on the skin or suitable for household cleaning.

Whether for personal use or to develop a craft business, you will be guided step-by-step through the formulation, saponification, dilution, and customization of your liquid soap.

What you will learn

• The basics of cold-process KOH saponification: understanding the chemical process, measuring and mixing ingredients safely, and handling caustic potash correctly.

• Differences between industrial and handmade soaps, particularly in terms of gentleness, biodegradability, and the natural retention of glycerin.

• Choosing natural ingredients: vegetable oils, glycerin, and moisturizing agents to formulate a liquid soap that is gentle on the skin or an effective liquid detergent.

• Dilution and finishing techniques: learning to adjust the texture and consistency to obtain a ready-to-use product according to the desired use (body care or household cleaning).

What you will receive

• 500g of all-purpose soap paste, ready to be diluted.

• Comprehensive course materials: technical sheets, ingredient lists, required equipment, and detailed preparation steps.

Workshop details

Our sessions generally last between 2 hours and 2 hours 30 minutes, an ideal amount of time to guide you step-by-step in discovering the art of cold-process liquid soap making.

All necessary equipment is provided.

Minimum age: 16 years old
